First of all WELCOME to everybody.
Secondly, I will tell you why I decided to choise PR and Politics as my main topic.
Public relations and Politics are two different things, but actually they are sailing in each others waters. According to Dr. Steve Isman, these are two concepts that are entwined since the beginning of recorded time. For example the presidential elections in Amerika. Obama's campaign was nothing else than related to public relations. All the advertising, public speeches, mass media, etc persuade the people to vote for him.
Pr is een asset for politics, I can't imagine how it would be without pr. How would the politicians than be able to convince people to vote for them? They just could not reach all the people.
The main raison for my choice is hereby that there are so many interesting thing to analyse about pr and politics. We can go from campaigns to the news, to presentation and elections, etc.
